Spring 2005:

Some Doctors Are From Saturn

June Bingham

Cell 2 Soul. 2005 Spring; 1(1):a9

"Some Doctors Are From Saturn" relates two experiences that June Bingham, a not very patient patient, had with her surgeon in which his deficient communication skills turned out to be a measurable hindrance to her recovery. Because of her self-interest — and perhaps cowardice — she decided not to confront her physician with this fact, thus leaving him none the wiser and herself none the healthier. In short, patients, too, can sometimes be from Saturn as well.
